For a simple quick and healthy hummus dip snack while you’re working, or as quick nourishment before you head out the door to pick-up your kids from school, etc. – this recipe can be really satisfying!
I never thought about making a version of hummus before, until one day I decided to dip some sliced red bell peppers into some peanut butter.
Three of my kids love snacking on sliced red, yellow, or orange bell peppers, so we always have the veggies around, but we don’t always have hummus.
I know the basic ingredients that go into it, and most of the ingredients I already have as a kitchen staple — so I thought I’d try to make my own version.
